STEAM in Action: Creative Robotics for Elementary Students
A Talk by Flaviana Lopes Cruz (Teacher, ICBEU-MANAUS)
About this Talk
n this session, participants will explore how robotics can be used as a tool for creativity and problem-solving in grades 3–5. By combining coding, arts, and hands-on maker activities, students learn not only technical skills but also collaboration, critical thinking, and innovation. The session will showcase practical examples from classroom projects where children designed artistic expressions with robotics, integrating Wonder Workshop tools and coding platforms. Educators will leave with strategies and resources to implement similar activities in their own schools.
