Samantha Ramsey

Samantha Ramsey is the Technology Integration Specialist at Anna McDonald School in Illinois. Passionate about the transformative potential of educational technology, Sam has spent 11 years developing lessons and activities that effectively leverage technology to orchestrate engaging, authentic, and rigorous learning experiences for students. In her role as an Apple Certified Coach, she guides and supports other teachers to do the same, working to create equitable access to ed. tech. and elevate the quality of instruction in every classroom across her building. Most recently given the opportunity to write the curriculum for and lead the implementation of her district's brand new STEAM program for grades 3-5, Sam is constantly honing her ability to combine academic and technology focused standards in ways that innovate and inspire deeper learning. Through these curricular shifts, Sam is dedicated to setting a new standard for interdisciplinary learning, as well as sharing her experiences and materials with other teachers in the STEM space.
