About this Speaker
"Katie Axe is the STEAM Coordinator at St. Benedict's Episcopal School in Smyrna, GA where she has been teaching since 2014. She has a background in teaching Special Education. In 2017 Katie and her grade level team launched a coding program with the second graders at the school. The coding and robotics program has expanded to a school wide STEAM initiative following a grant in 2019. "
