About this speaker
Hello, am a Digital Integration Facilitator in North Carolina. Previously, I have taught 4th grade at an International Baccalaureate school in Michigan. I served as a Media Coordinator, Teacher, Varsity Girls Soccer Coach, and Academically Intellectually Gifted Facilitator. Certified as a Google Educator, I obtained my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, from Central Michigan University, with a major in Science and a minor in Language Arts. I have studied internationally in France and England and received my Educational Technology Masters Degree from Michigan State University. Along with globalization and networking I have the skills needed to teach technology as a tool and empower students, teachers, parents, staff, and administration, to become collaborative life-long digital learners, in a technologically changing world. As the oldest of three sisters I have always been a passionate educator, developing innovative learning experiences and real world applications for those around her. My global perspective has also led me to teach virtually as well. When I am not at school, I enjoy being outside, blogging, gardening, reading, running, traveling, and spending time with my family. I am blessed to have been to many places around the world, from the Egyptian pyramids to the rainforests of Costa Rica, but my favorite place is in a classroom, both virtually and physically.
